Dragon or Dinosaur?

The words Dragon and Serpent were used routinely in all the ancient accounts relating to the sighting of strange and monstrous creatures. The word “Dinosaur” was first introduced in 1842 by the founder of the Natural History Museum Richard Owen. Dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible or other historical accounts for one obvious reason. No such word existed. The words used to describe strange or truly massive or ferociously fierce creatures were many and included Behemoth, Leviathan, Serpent and Dragon.

are used to describe creatures which we would now call Dinosaurs.
